The project delivers a dynamic campus for the next generation of healthcare professionals and provides economic growth for Oakland, with a more resilient mix of use and tenants. New SMU programs will expand access to healthcare through community partnerships, pro-bono services, and veteran support. The project also includes student-focused benefits such as enhanced facilities, new cafes and bookstores, community engagement programs, and wellness initiatives.
